A few months ago, I ran a contest to thank all my  families for their support during my first year of business and the winner received a free mini-session.  It was a tight race for a while but this family emerged the decisive victor.  While I wanted all of my families to win this contest, this family is extra super special because they are blessed to have an extra super special little lady to call their own.  Little Miss is one of the most amazing people I have ever met.  She is a wonderful person who brings so much joy to her family.  She is a big sister to two pretty energetic little girls yet she always seems to be able to keep them in line.  On a daily basis she displays the kind of strength that I wish I had on my strongest days.  You see, Little Miss has Rett Syndrome, a developmental disorder that has robbed her of many abilities we take for granted.  But Rett Syndrome has not taken her spirit, her laughter, her smiles, her joy, or her warrior status.  She fights this battle every day and she is to be lauded and honored for that.  She is an amazing person and I hope that one day, I can be half the person she is.
