It is fortuitous that this is the first family session I am posting since our nation and world have collectively suffered a tragedy.  Those who are blessed enough to know them know what a faithful family they are.  Their spirituality is just inspiring, especially in trying times like these.  While we all try to make sense of what has happened, many of us are turning to our faith to bring us peace. Since last week's events, I have looked at this happy family numerous times and have felt that sense of peace that we are all searching for.  Many times before the events, my stress levels were at an all time-high because I feared how I would get it all done:  photographer, mother, teacher, wife, sister, daughter, etc, etc, etc.  Who was the voice of reason? The mom you see below.  Who's smile made my anxiety melt away? The little man you see below (and by that I mean the toddler, although the husband was extremely pleasant to work with!)

This wonderful family, through their love and connection, have made my days just that much better.  Seeing how I was so easily able to capture that adoration, and faith, and mutual enjoyment of each other has brought me so many hours of happiness. I hope they do the same for you. 

By the way, I don't normally photograph my assistants but this one was just so cute, I couldn't stop myself.
