I got the call the call to photograph Arts for All's annual charity benefit in NYC.  This event is very special and exciting to me as I was honored with photographing last year's event.  But this year it was even MORE special and exciting.  This year, I not only got to photograph a very worthwhile organization (which is good for the soul), but I got to photograph fabulous Broadway stars at an amazing venue, Joe's Pub. But most important of all, I got to work with my brother and sister-in-law which is the most special reason of all for why this event is so special.

If you are not familiar with Arts for All, they are a nonprofit that serves over 3,500 inner-city children by bringing opportunities for artistic exposure directly to them.  The benefit of this organization is not just limited to the music and art appreciation.  According to Americans for the Arts, "A student involved in the arts is 4x more likely to be recognized for academic achievement than a peer who is not involved in the arts."  The positive effect this organization has on the youth of NYC is just astounding.   It is one of the most worthy organizations I know of and I am proud to be a part of anything that helps them help these wonderfully deserving children!
