How much more romantic does it get then this?  A love story that spans two countries, two continents, two languages, two families.  Fifty years of love and devotion and culture and tradition all culminated this night when this absolutely amazing family came together for the 50th Golden Anniversary of this astoundingly wonderful couple.  I am sure you will recognize these faces as I have done two family portraits for this family.  This is DEFINITELY the highlight of my job, getting to know families on such an intimate level.  I cannot even begin to categorize what my favorite parts of the night were:  the look on the guests of honors' faces to see the CRUSH of people lauding their love.  The authentic Indian cuisine that I was introduced to for the first time.  The grandchildren of the guests of honor who were simultaneously excited to party and completely overwhelmed by all the loved ones hugging and kissing and loving on them.  The stories!  Oh, the stories!  I laughed uncontrollably at the ribbing as so many people lovingly shared stories of this couple whose story spanned the last fifty years.  And the slideshow of loved ones from India!  Just priceless.  To see their granddaughter and grandson react at pictures of their beloved Dadi and Dada when they themselves were mere children was just enough to make me cry.  Oh!  Oh!  Did I mention the CHOREOGRAPHED DANCE?? Oh, and the saris. SARIS!  I get lightheaded when I think of all those beautiful women draped in such luxurious colors.   I literally cannot pick my favorite aspect of the night.  The love, the colors, the curry, the tears of happiness.  it was just a feast of joy.
