Camden County Newborn Lifestyle Photographer | Heaven Sent

Every photographer will tell you that every session is special to him/her.  This is the truth.  I wholeheartedly mean it when I share what an honor it is to be chosen to document a precious time of life.  And there is nothing more precious than a child's first moments of life.  To be chosen to document this time is an honor beyond words.

There is so much I can tell you about this little man.  He truly is a gift from heaven.  Of course, I could say that about every newborn I meet but this one is so much more. Not just because of his perfectly adorable little puppy paws or how perfectly he wears his father's wedding day tie.   He truly has a heavenly connection that makes him all the more treasured.  Weeks before he came into this world, his mother's family suffered a great loss.  His beloved great-grandmother passed away barely three weeks before his life began.  Normally, this would be a time of grief, but because of him, their hearts are filled with joy and new beginnings.  The circle of life has begun anew with his sweet perfect existence.  The peace and serenity he has brought his family is a gift in itself.  And the knowledge that he will forever have his great-grandmother watching over him, protecting him, is just just too powerful for words.

If you think I am just waxing poetic, the proof is in the pictures.  Before his great-grandmother passed, she had a green and yellow handwoven blanket keeping her warm during her final days.  During our session, we had a little trouble settling him down to sleep  It was not until his great-grandmother's blanket came out that he finally felt safe and warm enough to fall off to dreamland.

And from the look of serenity on his face, I know who he is dreaming of.
