Camden County Family Portrait Photographer | Haddonfield, NJ | Our Unique Love

I think one of the coolest parts about getting to take pictures of others' families is that I get to satisfy my sociological interests.  I get to see how so many people display their unique love for their families.  And I also get to see how that love is really not that unique.  Every family I meet comes to the session with a palpable, enveloping, zealous love and adoration that is just about the simplest thing on Earth to capture with my camera.  I know sometimes that love comes across as threats of violence if the child does not smile but I know love when I see it.   I love that I get to capture that so-unique-yet-not-at-all-unique love in a telling love story through pictures!

So what about this family?  What's their love story?  I doubt you'll be surprised when I tell you when we met in Haddonfield, NJ, it was instantly apparent that one of these girls is Mommy's little best friend and the other has eyes for one man and one man only.  Daddy!  Of course, you're not shocked!  Any parent of two children will tell you who is Mommy's and who is Daddy's.

But what I loved..adored...just derived so much incredible pleasure from, was learning how these little ladies are so unique from every other little lady I have met!  How each of them showed their parent their love and showed me their personality.  Whether it was the little diva who wanted nothing more than to pose for me, to flash her chestnut brown eyes at me with a joyous smile she is willing to share with the world.    Or the quiet, pensive, old soul with her deep brown chocolate eyes that make you feel light-headed if you stare at them too long, who makes you work. Work so hard, for just one little smile that, when you get it, makes you feel like you are the most cherished person on Earth to deserve that honor.

Just so wonderfully unique!

Makes you wonder what the little man in mommy's belly has up his sleeve!  ;)
