Being a wedding photographer is hard. Sometimes I wish I could just show up to a wedding and shoot for fun. No pressure, no expectations, no fear...just me and my shutter finger. Sometimes I wish I could just photograph from the heart the moments I see, the details that delight, the moments that made me pin my knees together because I was laughing so hard at what I saw.
I got to do it!
Kristy Straub of Syllipsi Photography, who was wonderful enough to second shoot for me later in the year, asked me to be her second shooter for this beautiful-in-every-way wedding. From start to finish, it was like being a kid in a candy store, a cat in a catnip field, a mom at Target...a photographer at a wedding with no obligations or expectations!
It was so much fun! Everything I dreamed it would be! And what a beautiful gorgeous venue the Washington Crossing inn is! I can't wait to shoot there again (as I will in a few short weeks!)
